Are We There Yet? Women and Equality in Aotearoa uses the 125th anniversary of women’s suffrage to consider how far women have come since 1893 – and where to next. Hard-hitting issues such as reproductive sovereignty, gendered violence, online trolling, equal pay, legal rights, and body image are all up for interrogation. Posters, photographs, objects and ephemera tell the story of the vote, women’s activism, pioneering women and influential gamechangers.
